Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator for a local company. This role involves operating a backhoe and mini excavator for excavation and underground utility projects, as well as completing paperwork related to job tracking and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on operating experience and a strong understanding of safe and efficient work practices on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate backhoe and mini excavator for trenching, digging, and site preparation
Complete daily paperwork and assist with invoicing documentation
Work alongside other crew members to complete excavation and utility work
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating backhoes and mini excavators (skills will be evaluated)
Prior excavation or underground utility experience strongly preferred
Ability to complete basic job documentation and invoicing paperwork
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Must not be affiliated with a union (non-union company)
